There are few management burdens so sweet as to brag on one’s staff. This time of year, for the past several years, it has been my pleasure to praise the exceptional work of the Agency for Public Telecommunications team by announcing the receipt of International Telly Awards. This year, we reeled in five of them.
This 31st annual competition included nearly 11,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries. APT was recognized for the following projects, four of which may be viewed by clicking on the hyperlinks:
• “RELAY, Yes You Can – A Day in the Life of Relay” video, Bronze Telly in the area of Education for Academic Use (Division of Services for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing in the Department of Health and Human Services)
• “RELAY, Yes You Can – A Day in the in the Life of Deaf Culture” video, Bronze Telly in the area of Education for Academic Use (DHHS)
• “RELAY, Yes You Can” interactive CD-Rom, Bronze Telly in the area of Multimedia (DHHS)

Producing creative and cost-effective video communications for state and local agencies is key to APT’s mission. We are grateful for the opportunity to assist them with award-winning productions that help to inform the public about quality programs and services.
