We’ve heard it before, but it’s the kind of news we like to hear over and over: The Agency for Public Telecommunications has again been recognized with international Telly Awards for outstanding video communications.
This is the fifth consecutive year that APT has been honored for the consistently excellent production service our team provides. Producing creative and cost-effective video communications for state and local agencies is key to our mission. We are honored by the opportunity to assist them with award-winning productions.
Our projects were selected from more than 13,000 entries from ad agencies, production companies, TV stations, cable companies and corporations around the world. Judges awarded APT a Silver Telly, the highest honor, for the video “Eat Smart, Move More Successful Students” in the category of Education for Academic Use. Focusing on the importance of healthy eating habits and the benefits of exercise, it was produced for the Nutrition Branch of the Department of Health and Human Services.
APT earned a Bronze Telly for the “Otto Parts Series,” which consisted of six animated public service announcements featuring a talking catalytic converter that educates citizens about the importance of proper vehicle maintenance. Created in both English and Spanish for the Division of Air Quality in the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, this series was honored in the category of Promotion and Branding. In developing “branding,” APT also created additional marketing materials, including a web site and promotional items, which augmented the message of the Otto Parts videos.
APT also received a Bronze Telly for “Why APT?”, a video showcasing APTs services through the eyes and testimonials of our customers. This video was recognized for excellence in Government Relations.
