The Executive Mansion
North Carolina's Executive Mansion is not only home to the Governor, it is the “people's house.” The building is also a meeting space, historic site, and an elegant event location.
Boards and Commissions
The Governor of North Carolina appoints individuals to serve on over 400 different boards and commissions. The duties of the various boards and commission range from directing educational institutions like our universities and community colleges, to regulating state agencies, to advising state government on a broad range of policy from crime to the environment.
