Committee Two: The Strategic Use of Resources |

Committee Two will examine how educational dollars, especially those provided by the state or by the federal government, are currently allocated in an effort to propose ways those funds could be used more effectively. |

The work of this Committee will focus on an examination of state and federal funding sources and policies determining the distribution of funds.
|

| |
Committee Two will work with and rely on the findings of Committee One, which will be examining utilization resources in high performing buildings. It will also draw on the work of the Public School Forum, Teacher Quality Task Force created by the State Board of Education; the Southeast Center on Teaching Quality; the National Commission on Teaching and America's Future; and the RAND Corporation and other research groups that have examined the correlation between spending and results.
